Gift items ship directly from
the designer and must ship separately from the rest of your order (unless
otherwise noted) so shipping charges will be applied for each item
shipped. If you wish to send more than one gift, please call us, we can
help choose gift selections by the same designer that can ship together for a
lesser cost or at least ship out together or at the same time.
Every effort is made to ship all
our gifts and gift baskets within a 24 hour period if placed
before 12:00 pm EST and most do...however,
we have found it necessary to clearly state that this is not a
guarantee. All orders are shipped in the order they are
received and sometimes due to heavy order volumes, it may take
longer. We have devised the following guidelines below:
Our Shipping
Policies...
All
gifts ship directly from the manufacturer or designer
within two business
days (unless otherwise noted on website about delayed
shipping for some reason such as vacations, etc Please
allow 4 -5 business days for processing of personalized items) from receipt of order, Saturday & Sunday excluded.
(If you place your order on Thursday, conceivably, it may not
ship until Monday or Tuesday depending on the time your order
was placed and the order in which it was received).
We cannot not refund ship cost
because a gift did
not arrive as early as you thought it might...If you absolutely need a gift
to arrive by a guaranteed date, we recommend that you call us or email first
and be prepared to ship your item via a guaranteed method of shipment.
Shipping cost include business day shipping only, you cannot count weekends
as a shipping day as most carriers do not deliver on weekends. Ex: You
order on Thursday and pay for 2 day guaranteed shipping and your item ships
on Friday, it is not guaranteed delivery until Tues.
Shipping times are estimated...we cannot
guarantee ground shipments. The estimated time it should take is listed
but is not a guarantee as we have no control over delays that UPS, Fed Ex or
the Postal Service may encounter. We cannot
refund ship cost due to any delays out of our control.
(Please note: Sometimes tracking with Federal Express may show a longer
delivery time than the 3-7 days, we have found that this is just an
overstatement on their part and rest assured, your gift should arrive within
the 3 -7 days as indicated on our site).
We will honor all guaranteed Express shipments
with a full refund of shipping cost if the gift item does not arrive
by the guaranteed time. Please note: Some carriers do require a
signature and may not leave a package if no one is available to sign,
therefore, delaying the actual delivery. A package is usually
considered as being delivered as on time even if no one is available to sign
for it and your recipient may be required to pick up the gift item or it may
be returned if several attempts are made without success depending on the
carrier.
Shipping options and cost along with the
estimated shipping times are listed on
each gift item page on the pull down menu when you select your preferred
method of shipping. Feel free to call us if you have any questions
regarding the shipping methods and times.
If you would like a quicker shipping method then
what is offered for a particular gift item...please contact us via
Email.
Most items are available for Express shipping but an estimation can only be
made according to the weight, box dimensions and zip code of your recipient.
Please include the gift item and your recipients zip code and we will reply
with an estimated
cost (once again, this
will be an estimation based upon the information you give us along with our
box weight and size, however, actual weighing and figuring by the carrier may
differ slightly) as soon as possible.
*The customer is responsible
for any re-directing shipping fees or re-shipping fees incurred by the actual
carrier if an incorrect shipping address was given during the ordering
process. We will take responsibility and cover the costs if an error was made
on our part.
Shipping to Hospitals
We strongly do not recommend shipping to hospitals or medical facilities.
Additional shipping charges may be necessary if the recipient has already
been discharged by the time your gift item arrives.
FYI - No
delivery on weekends. You can ship an item express mail, but most
likely the shipping/receiving dept. at the hospital is not open on weekends.
This means your gift will not be delivered to the patient until Monday even
if it arrives at the hospital on Saturday.
Also, a
gift may be delivered to the hospital on one day but not delivered to the
patient until the following day. We highly recommend that you check
with your recipient on all hospital deliveries. Even an overnight
delivery takes two days to reach a patient.
International Shipping
Many of our gift items are
available to ship international but some are not. If you wish to ship
something international, please call us with your specific gift item in mind
and we can let you know. Our shopping cart is not set up to charge
international shipping as shipping cost can vary depending on weight and
actual destination. If you place an order online to ship to another
country other than the US, we will send you another order confirmation with
the actual shipping cost and request your approval to begin processing your
order.
Please also note: International
tracking is limited! You will be provided a tracking number however,
upon tracking, you will only be notified that the package made it into the
country. Any further confirmation of receipt must be made directly with
your recipient.
For orders
shipped to destinations outside of the United States, the customer is
responsible for any duties, conversions or taxes associated with the
shipment.
We are not responsible for any
gift items shipping internationally other than what the actual carrier will
guarantee.
