selection) so you may review our shipping policies before placing your
order. It is the customer's responsibility to read and fully understand
all policies before purchasing. Once an order has been placed, it is
assumed you have read and agree to our policies.

SHIPPING
* We
ship to
USA
only unless you have called us for an international order.
* Carriers are at our discretion (Usually FEDEX, UPS or USPS).
* Next Day Service or Overnight Delivery is
Next Business Day by
3:00 p.m.
* Your preference of shipping is required for
all items added to your shopping cart, if a selection is not made and it is
deemed necessary, ground shipping charges will be added to your balance in
order to process your order.
*All gift selections show an "Availability"
note right above the "Order" button. This shows the "estimated"
processing time to get your order out the door. (This is not a
guarantee, all orders are shipped in the order they are received and we do
our very best to ship out all items in the estimated time frame).
You are also asked to select a shipping
method...this is the "estimated" shipping time once the item
actually leaves our facility and you cannot count weekends as a day, all
estimates are business days only unless otherwise specified...
Processing time and shipping times are 2
different factors and both must be considered when ordering your gift item.
*As stated above Shipping Times are
"Estimated" and we make no financial guarantees other then what the actual
carrier will guarantee. Many of our product pages offer shipping maps so you
can get a better estimate of the shipping time expected before making your
selection. Once a selection is made and the order has shipped, there is no
way to speed up or change the method with the carrier ~ no exceptions!
Please
call us if you
have any concerns or need assistance in estimating when a gift might arrive
(before placing your order).
* Please note: Ground shipments do not require
a signature and may be left at a door. Express Shipments may require a
signature depending on the carrier and may be returned to the facility/and or
returned to us if no one is available...typically a carrier will leave a note
and/or attempt delivery once or twice before returning an item to us. If an
item is returned to us, we will need to re-charge shipping fees to ship it
out again.
*Once an order has left our facility with the
carrier, it falls under the carriers guidelines and guarantees.
*Most Delivery Charges are automatically calculated by our shopping cart and
are "Estimates" Only. Charges may be more if you order more
than one item or if you did not select a shipping method at all.
* Package Tracking - You will be supplied your tracking number within your
sales receipt emailed to you after shipment of your item so you have constant
access to
your package information.
ADDITIONAL FEES
Redirect Fee - If a wrong/insufficient address was provided at
time of order and your package needs to be redirected for any reason, a
redirect fee will be charged to you. The Redirect Fees are as follows:

Return Package Fee - A Redirect Fee of $10 plus
original shipping cost for return. Per
UPS policy, all returned
parcels will be returned and billed using the same service as originally
shipped. Therefore Next Day Air parcels will be returned Next Day Air.

If package is redirected multiple times, a
redirect fee each time will be assessed.

USPS Redirect Fees - If your package was shipped using USPS and a
wrong/insufficient address was provided at the time of order and your package
can not be delivered for any reason, the package will be returned to us as
“undeliverable”. Should this happen we will an issue a refund of the cost of
the item with the exception of personalized gifts minus the original shipping
cost
SHIPPING TO HOSPITALS
* We strongly do not recommend shipping to hospitals or medical
facilities. Additional shipping charges may be necessary if the recipient has
already been discharged by the time your gift item arrives. If you so choose
to ship to a hospital or medical facility please note: No refunds will be
issued in a hospital shipment other then what is guaranteed by the actual
carrier ~ no exceptions.
PAYMENTS
* We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard,
Discover & American Express
* Our online order form is secured using SSL encryption so that
you may feel safe about processing your order online using your credit card
information. All credit card payments are processed through our own terminal
through a phone line...not via over the internet, making our site one of the
most secured sites on the web and your transaction extremely safe & secure.
*All transactions on the Stork Baby Gift Baskets web site are
processed over a secured server for maximum protection. State of the art
128-bit encryption makes it virtually impossible for anyone to intercept or
steal information. The site features a Trust Guard SSL Web Server Certificate
updated daily to audit our security and ensure it's trustworthy.
Sales Tax
*Michigan sales tax (6%) will be assessed for all MI residents. MI residents
must check the box in order to calculate tax on the order, if the box is left
un-checked, sales tax will still be added to the total and billed to the
customer.
CANCELLATIONS
*
We can cancel your order within a 24 hour period from the time of initial
placement as long as it has not actually shipped and any personalizing of
your order begun.
RETURNS
*
If you are not satisfied with the item(s) ordered, please notify us right
away via e-mail to request a "Return Authorization Number (RAN)" and return
instructions. You must provide a SPECIFIC reason for the return.
* Items must be unused, unopened and in original packaging and must be
returned to us within 30 days of the "purchase date" and with a valid RAN. We
refuse all unauthorized returns - no exceptions.
* All
returns must be sent via an insured and/or track able carrier.
* We will credit 100% of the purchase price excluding shipping and handling
charges. All credits will be refunded to the credit card/payment method used
at the time of purchase.
* Please allow 5-7 days after receipt and inspection of the returned items
for proper credit. Stork Baby Gift Baskets reserves the right to refuse any
returns upon final review if above guidelines have not been met.
* Returns due to delivery failure by a requested delivery date are not
allowed since we do not guarantee date specific delivery (no exceptions).
* Personalized Products/Custom Orders -
All sales are final ~ no returns, no exchanges, no refunds.
* We will not accept returns on gift items received by
recipients. If your gift item was damaged during shipment, we will offer a
replacement on damaged goods but do not offer a credit to our store. Any
returns must be made by the actual purchaser of the gift item unless a
replacement is being made, in this case, we will issue a call tag for a
pickup of the item by the carrier.
Cancellation/Re-Stocking Fees
All Diaper Cake order cancellations MUST be
made within 24 hours of receipt of order. Orders cancelled after a 24 hour
period will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refund will be total order
price, less the 20% restocking fee.
Damage During Shipment
*
If all or part of your order was damaged during shipping, please contact us
immediately (within 24 hours of delivery) so we can file a claim with the
carrier.
* Once we receive confirmation from the carrier that the claim will be
paid we will replace or exchange the damaged item(s) or issue a refund
(limited to the damaged item(s) only - not your entire order).
*If you want the order re-done/re-shipped prior to claim settlement, it
will be considered a new order and must be paid for.
* DO NOT RETURN the damaged item(s) unless instructed to do so.
Errors
If
we make a mistake, we will correct the error, refund or exchange the item(s)
at no additional cost.
Disclaimer
We (Stork Baby Gift Baskets) are not to be held liable for any loss
incurred through the use of this website, products and/or the information
contained herein. If you are dissatisfied, your exclusive remedy shall be to
cease using this website. We assume no liability for packages lost, damaged
or destroyed due to events beyond our control such as, but not limited to,
severe weather conditions, natural disasters, man-made disasters.
Substitutions
Photos may show items that are seasonal or no
longer available. We reserve the right to replace items with another of equal
or greater value based on availability.
International Shipping
Many of our gift items are available to ship international but some are not.
If you wish to ship something international, please
call us with your specific
gift item in mind and we can let you know. Our shopping cart is not set up
to charge international shipping as shipping cost can vary depending on
weight and actual destination.
Please also note: International tracking is limited! You will be provided a
tracking number however, upon tracking, you will only be notified that the
package made it into the country. Any further confirmation of receipt must
be made directly with your recipient.
For orders shipped to destinations outside of the
United
States, the customer is responsible for any duties, conversions or taxes
associated with the shipment.
We are not responsible for any gift items shipping internationally other than
what the actual carrier will guarantee.
Order
Confirmations & Sales Receipts
You should receive
an automatic order confirmation sent to your email shortly after placing your
order (please double check your email address to be sure it is entered
correctly or you will not receive the confirmation). A Sales receipt is
emailed to you after shipment of your gift item which will include a tracking
number so you can track the shipment if you wish.

Sales receipts are Never shipped with your gift item.
