Adele welcomes her first child with boyfriend!

British singer Adele may have won a Grammy for Best New Artist and topped the charts with her soulful songs like "Chasing Pavements" and "Rolling in the Deep," but now she is getting geared up for her most important role yet and that's being a mom.

That's right. Over the weekend, the songstress gave birth to a healthy baby boy. This is the first child for the 24-year-old mom and the second for her boyfriend, 38-year-old Simon Konecki. In July, Adele announced to all her friends and fans that she was expecting via her website.

"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time."

During her pregnancy, despite having millions of devotees around the world, she reportedly made it a point to stay out of the spotlight. However, she did manage to make it to the studio to record the theme song "Skyfall" for the brand new James Bond movie.

As if that isn't enough work, the singer also began putting together her third album. Sources told Us Magazine that one of the many inspirations for Adele's songs on her next CD will be her son, of course.

Being the private person that Adele is, she has yet to announce what her little bundle of joy's name is. Fans don't even know what newborn baby gifts she's received from friends and family. However, one thing's for certain and that is that the world will be watching every move that little man makes.
