Bruce Willis is a man known for his strong acting skills and starring roles in films like "Die Hard" and "The Sixth Sense." But, a recent report revealed he may be gearing up for another go at his most important role to date: fatherhood!
Willis' representatives say he and wife of three years, Emma Heming, welcomed a baby girl whom they named Mabel Ray Willis on Sunday. The couple currently resides in the star-studded city of Los Angeles. The hospital baby Mabel was born in was not disclosed, but many celebrity bloggers and writers speculate it was the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
In a statement, Willis' rep says that the couple "are overjoyed about the newest member of their family" and that "both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully."
The little bundle of joy weighed in at nine pounds and one ounce. This is the couple's first child together. Willis, who recently turned 57 is already a father to three girls: Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 18. Hemming, a British lingerie model, is 33 years old.
Before the birth of their little princess, Bruce had previously claimed he was indifferent to having children with Emma as the only thing that mattered was being with her.
"I'd like to have a thousand more children, or zero more children. It doesn't matter. Emma makes me feel great" said Willis, according to a South African online news source.
The new parents have not released information as to whether or not they will continue living in Los Angeles. But one thing's for certain: Mabel will be the recipient of unique newborn baby gifts from the Willis family's celebrity pals like Ashton Kutcher, who Bruce reportedly remains friendly with.
