Baby Gifts From The Heart - Helping Newborns In Need
Posted on 02 November 2012
As the cold weather is now upon us, baby gifts from the heart are needed even more than ever. Helping newborns in need is especially important for the small victims affected by Hurricane Sandy. The number of children in need of shelter, food and basic needs is now greater then ever accross the Northeast. Many babies and small children across this vast area will find themeselves seeking shelter, warmth and security in the cold winter months ahead. Mother Nature has affected the lives and futures for many families with young children and their worlds have been turned upside down. Project Night Night is a non-profit charity founded in 2005 and is dedicated to helping homeless children living in shelters by providing care packages of baby security blankets, age appropriate children's books and plush stuffed animals placed inside a canvas tote bag helping to provide a sense of security to a child deserately in need of comfort. In a world where there are so many problems and so many needs, this may seem like a very small and insignificant need but to those children and their parents, it's a huge gesture and greatly appreciated. It's co-founder, Karen Stitt Robins, a mother herself was inspired to start Project Night Night while putting her own two-year old son to bed one night. Realizing how important his security blanket, bedtime story and the need for a good nights sleep for her son was, left her legal carreer to start this awesome children's charity! Stork Baby Gift Baskets believes that every donation when made from the heart, no matter how big or small does make a significant impact and being a small privately owned company, we want to help even if in a very small way. We've been inspired to help these babies by donating a portion of sales from our new line of Cuddler Security Blankets. We will donate $1.00 of proceeds of every sale from now until the end of December. If the response from our customers is positive, we will continue our efforts throughout the coming months of 2013. By purchasing a baby gift for your own little one or someone elses, you can help a child in need. Choose from any of our new collections, Minky Elephant Cuddler Security Blanket, Little Buddy Cuddler Blanket or Princess Cuddler Baby Blanket.
