Tori Spelling and husband welcome fourth child after a scary pregnancy

Posted on 13 November 2012

Tori Spelling has been a Hollywood name for years now, but perhaps she is most famous for her role as Donna on "Beverly Hills 90210." After the beloved sitcom came to an end, she appeared in movies like "Scary Movie 2," "Evil Alien Conquerors" and "Kiss the Bride."

Most recently, however, the daughter of famous producer Aaron Spelling has made a name for herself with her husband, Canadian-American actor Dean McDermott, as they appeared on their own reality television show "Home Sweet Hollywood."

Yet, it isn't Spelling's acting skills that have been in the news lately, but the fact that she has given birth for the fourth time! Yes, that's right. Tori and Dean recently welcomed their fourth child, Finn Davey McDermott.

And despite her successful career, Tori suffered from serious complications before giving birth to her most recent bundle of joy. According to sources, she was diagnosed with placenta previa, a condition in which, according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, the placenta grows in the lowest part of the uterus and obstructs part of all of the opening to the cervix.

Spelling was hospitalized from complications due to the affliction, which could have killed her, two months ago.

''When they put him in my arms, I was like, 'We made it. We did it.' Now we have an insane bond. We’ve been through hell and back,'' the starlet told celebrity magazine Us Weekly in her first interview since giving birth.

Luckily, Tori made it and on August 30, welcomed Finn into the world via cesarean section. The couple is already parents to Liam, Stella and Hattie who range in age from 1 to 5 years old.
