Led Paint Recall - 2007

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Cool Clip™ and Mini Cool Clip™ Bookmarks
Paint on the clip of the bookmarks contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description: This recall involves various designs of the Cool Clip and Mini Cool Clip bookmarks. The themed metals bookmarks include the following designs:

Sold at: Book, card and gift stores nationwide from April 2003 through October 2007 for about $4.
Consumers should immediately take the bookmarks away from children and contact Antioch Publishing for a refund.
