Jessica Simpson hits the gym after welcoming baby Maxwell into the world

We all love to hear about celebrities and their babies. But, perhaps even more interesting than the story behind a starlett's newborn son or daughter's name is how she plans on dropping the weight gained during pregnancy.
Jessica Simpson was recently photographed by paparazzi after finishing a workout at a private Los Angeles gym with her personal trainer, Harley Pastermak. Pastermak has helped kick famous celeb moms like Halle Berry and Hilary Duff back into shape after having a baby.
And although the blonde bombshell, fashion designer and television host welcomed little Maxwell Drew Johnson into the world via C-section on May 1, the beautiful mom is certainly not wasting any time getting back to the gym.
At the time of her fabulous nude photo shoot for the cover of Elle, she told the magazine she weighed 170 pounds, which sounds like a lot, especially because Simpson is pint-sized, standing only five feet and three inches tall.
But looking food for her fiance, Eric Johnson, is not the only motivation Jessica has for getting her famous curvaceous body back. The new mom has reportedly signed a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers.
As tempting as it may be to get your body back as quickly as possible after having a baby, new moms should take their time shedding the weight, and that applies especially to women who gave birth via C-section.
In fact, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists advise that moms wait approximately six to eight weeks before resuming exercise. Of course, each woman's body is different, so it is always a good idea to check with your doctor before hitting the gym or engaging in physical activity.
