I'm a mom and I've lost my fashion sense! What can I do?

No one is going to argue with you when you say that one of life's greatest joys is being a mom. However, they may have a tendency to disagree if you tell them that you had as much free time to take care of your looks as you used to. After all, how many mothers do you know who have hours to spend styling their hair, perfecting their makeup and putting together the perfect wardrobe just to pick up some baby formula? The answer is probably not many.
But, just because you've got a little one that you're looking after, doesn't mean that you need to forgo your appearance. Simply add the following staples to your closet and you'll look your best in no time:
1) Oversized sunglasses
Moms Nicole Richie, Alyson Hannigan and Angelina Jolie know how fabulous a pair of big shades looks. Not only does it help pull together an outfit, but it also allows busy mommies to run out of the house without having to double-check that their eyeshadow and eyeliner are in place.
Boots are the perfect shoe for fall and winter. Kourtney Kardashian has been photographed wearing an orange pair from Chanel. Whether you select equestrian, ankle or over-the-knee, make sure the heel isn't too high so that you can walk around with your little one all day if need be.
3) Stylish hats
Fashionable hats aren't just reserved for the Brits or Kentucky Derby attendees. Designer Rachel Zoe knows that they are the perfect cover-up for those days when your hair may not be cooperating. As the temperature begins to drop, fedoras in luxurious fabrics like velvet are going to be making a name for themselves.
